Plot :- CRIME after CRIME tells the dramatic story of the legal battle to release Debbie Peagler, incarcerated survivor of violence domestic. More than 26 years in prison could not crush the spirit of this African-American woman determined, despite the harm she suffered at the hands of a deceitful boyfriend beaten and forced into prostitution and later by prosecutors who have used the threat of the death penalty in his corner to a life behind bars for his connection with the murder of her assailant. His story takes an unexpected turn two decades later, when two attorneys of rookie development advanced to take his case. Through their perseverance, that they bring to light lost since long time controls, new testimony from men who have committed the murder, and evidence of false testimony. Their investigation ultimately drew international attention to the victims of wrongful imprisonment and abuse and becomes a matter of life or death once more.
